Elopements in Milos.

Just the two of you, the sea, and a ceremony as private and personal as your love. We handle everything — you bring each other.

The Elopement Experience

A ceremony as private as your love.

There is a particular kind of courage in choosing an elopement — the decision to make your wedding entirely, unapologetically your own. No compromises on the venue. No guest list politics. No day divided between what you want and what others expect.

Milos is the ideal setting for this kind of intimacy. The island is vast enough that you can find a location where you're genuinely alone, and beautiful enough that no decoration is needed beyond what nature provides.

We have guided couples from Australia, the UK, the US, and across Europe through elopements on Milos — from the initial idea to the final photograph. We handle the legal paperwork, the officiant, the photographer, the florals, and the logistics. You focus on each other.

Ceremony Locations

Where to say I do on Milos.

Every couple is different. Here are five locations we love — each with its own atmosphere and story.

  1. Kleftiko Sea Caves

For the couple who wants to feel like the last two people on earth. The caves are only accessible by boat, giving the ceremony a genuine sense of discovery and exclusivity.

  2. Sarakiniko Beach

The white volcanic moonscape of Sarakiniko is unlike any beach on earth. At dawn or late afternoon, it is quietly magical — perfect for a ceremony that feels genuinely otherworldly.

  3. Vani Hilltop

A wild, windswept hill above the sea with panoramic views over the entire island. Raw, dramatic, and deeply romantic for couples who like their landscapes untamed.

  4. Private Villa Terrace

For those who prefer elegance to wilderness, we work with a selection of private villa properties offering exclusive-use terraces with sea views and a more curated atmosphere.

  5. Tsigrado Cove

An intimate, hidden beach accessed by a short climb down a cliffside rope. Enclosed on three sides, it offers natural shelter, turquoise water, and complete privacy.

Common Questions

Elopement questions, answered.

This depends on your home country. A civil ceremony in Greece is legally valid in Greece and recognised in many countries, but you may need to complete additional paperwork (such as an apostille) to have it recognised at home. We help you understand exactly what is needed for your specific situation and connect you with the right legal contacts.

Absolutely. Many of our couples choose to elope with no guests at all — just the two of them, an officiant, and a photographer. It is one of the most intimate and emotionally powerful experiences we facilitate. The island is genuinely private enough to make this feel completely natural.

We recommend booking at least 3–6 months ahead to secure your preferred location and date, complete any legal paperwork requirements, and allow time for unhurried planning. Peak season (June–September) books up fastest — the earlier you reach out, the more options you have.

For us, an elopement is a ceremony designed entirely for two — intimate, private, and stripped of anything that isn't essential. A wedding includes guests, a reception, and all the celebration that comes with sharing the day with others. Both are equally meaningful; the right choice depends entirely on who you are as a couple.
